How much traffic do you get and how long did it take for you to get to were you are now?
Also if you have any tips on how to get more traffic to a site would appreciate it

I have an average of 400 to 600 visits per month to my website. It took me about 4 to 6 months in average before I have this average hits per month. However, it depends on what traffic generation methods you are using.

Please take note that it does not matter if you are hitting 20,000 or million views per month. The most important element is to have targetted visits to your site. If you do not have this targetted visits, you will not be able to sell either your own product or promote offers to your list.

I would suggest article marketing, press release marketing, social marketing such as facebook, twitter, squidoo, etc and video marketing.

You have to write useful content.
You have to use social networking sites like Yahoo buzz, Digg, Facebook, twitter.
You have to find similar blog to yours and participate in comments over there.

Don’t just think for success very early, it takes time. First put your attention in writing content

there is so many ways how to get traffic for your blogs but the question is are you willing to pay or not if you do, use Adwords, but if have low budget use SEO for long term Investment but unfortunately SEO need times at least three month or more,anyway if you using Adwords don’t forget to optimize your Adwords, use Google Analytic , to get more specific location about your niche, do some keyword research, to get cheap prices, and buy some e-books or download about Adwords free e-book , believe me using Adwords without any knowledge can kill your pocket,

Write about it on other sites that are similar to yours. Say that theirs is good but ask if they could visit yours.

Advertise. Even free means work, such as flyers.

Make it interesting so more people talk about it after the go and see it, and so they come back.

Update often. Use color, and not big words. Lots of pictures help. Break lots of info. down into small sections.

The topic really isn’t even that important. It’s how well you can market and promote it. Internet marketers have very high traffic blogs with content that’s complete crap. There are great content sites with no traffic at all

As you can see, its not a very old blog, as such it is not well-established, however, I do write stuff in it which I work really hard for, I added gadgets to make my blog look better. Yet there is no traffic, do you think I should change the name of the blog and its layout if yes than any suggestion that may make my blog more user-friendly. And if there are any suggestions regarding the contents, than I am more than willing to hear them.

Changing the look won’t get traffic. You have to promote it. There are plenty of free ways to do it.
