Sure are many ways to generate traffic so that others know about your blog or website. Where can i find traffic? Is there a site that can help me?

To get traffic to your website, you need to optimize your website to obtain higher ranking in search engines, here are some good ideas to help you do so:

1st try to get more back links to your website and the easiest way to do thats is by submitting your website to free web directories such as:

I do have Wordpress for Dummies, but it doesn’t explain that well for a dummy about how to direct traffic towards your blog if you don’t know how to use posts, etc. I am bad at these things, as I haven’t even found out how to personalise my icon on this site! You do need to direct traffic to you to get noticed, and I can’t really afford to pay an expert. Any ideas?

Check other people’s blogs simillar to yours and try and make friends with them. If they are into the same things as you, try and get them to go and visit your blog, then they can tell their friends, and they can tell their friends and the cycle will continue.

You could maybe post on other people’s blogs/pages and tell them to visit your blog.

you can add a thing called Google analytic and it can give everything you could want to know about the traffic you get.

How often do you change what is on your blog ? And how do you know what the people are looking for. I want something different and not the same thing everyone else is offering.

If you can update everyday and add relevant and useful stuff for other people you’ll make a fortune.

Google LOVES fresh new and original content, if you can update regularly you are half way there to getting a good pagerank.

But what to add? Anything you like. Anything that will add value to your community. Anything that you’d want to read on another blog or site.

Here are some tips:

* photos you’ve taken & offer as stock
* photoshop brushes you’ve made from scratch
